Our Unique Rural Community
The Report to the Rural Economy Working Group of WSDC states that almost 40% of businesses replied that hunting is of great importance to their turnover. One third or more of all local business turnover is from hunting. This brings in a vital £5.5 million to the rural economy every year. Over 400 full time jobs would vanish and perhaps as many as 800 people in part time employment would suffer financially from a ban.
